Jason E. Tomlinson, age 39, of Frankton, IN passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN on Monday, February 18, 2019. Jason was born in Anderson, IN on April 21, 1979 to Wayne and Marsha (Cox) Tomlinson. On December 10, 2016 he married Amanda (Miller) Tomlinson.

Jason graduated in 1998 from Marshall County Jr. & Sr. High School in Lewisburg, TN. Jason worked for Waitt Trucking in Sheridan, IN. He was a member of the Frankton American Legion as a son of a legionnaire.

Jason loved to tinker with gadgets. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, liked RC hobbies and racing go karts. Jason will be missed by many.

His legacy will continue as he was a tissue donor, selflessly giving of himself to help others. Jason is survived by his wife of 3 years Amanda(Miller)Tomlinson of Frankton, loving parents, Wayne and Marsha (Cox) Tomlinson of Anderson, son, Landon Tomlinson, step children, Kolten & Kenzie, sister, Christal (Korey) Hughes of Anderson, two brothers, Dustin (Kristi) Tomlinson of Frankton and Aaron (Tosha) Tomlinson of Pendleton, maternal grandmother Naomi Cox of Alexandria, paternal grandparents Gary and Madge Summitt of Anderson, his special friends, Steve Snyder of Frankton and Chris Donald of Lewisburg, TN, along with several nieces & nephews and many friends. Jason was preceded in death by his Grandfather Emmett Cox and Grandfather Forest Tomlinson, II.

Funeral service celebrating Jason’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton, IN with Pastor Brad Brizendine officiating. Burial will follow in the K. of P. and I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset expenses. Online condolences can be given at www.
