Donald Ray Dow, age 81, of Frankton, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his residence following recent health issues. He was born in Shelbyville on November 10, 1937, to the late Arnold and Alice (Lockridge) Dow. On January 2, 1966 he married the love of his life Bonita “Bonnie” Dawn (Shipley) Dow.

Don was self employed in advertising for many years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed collecting depression era glass wear pieces. Don is survived by his caring wife, Bonnie Dow of Frankton; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. No formal funeral services will be held at this time. Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton has been entrusted with Don’s care.
