Lucile Helen Banker, age 96, life long resident of Frankton, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Edgewater Wood Nursing Home. Lucile was born on February 15, 1923 in Elwood, to Donald E. and Nellie (McCord) Loundenback. Lucile attended Frankton High School.

She had many careers in her life including a beautician, homemaker and she was an avid animal lover. She took in and cared for many animals in need. She was a member of Frankton Christian and the Oder of Eastern Star.

Lucile is survived by her three grandchildren, Kim Banker-Thomas of Cicero, Jeff Banker of Anderson and Darla (Phil) Hosier of Frankton, four great grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Amos, Kaylee Farmer, Devyn Hosier and Amanda Thornberry, four great-great grandchildren, Madden Amos, Stella Amos, Carver Evans and Caden Evans Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, son, Mike Banker, daughter, Debbie Lehman, two grandsons, Donnie Lehman and Jimmy Callaway, sister, Annabelle Kaiser and a niece Ella Leach. We would like to thank Park Place Assisted Living for taking such excellent care of our grandmother, and a special friend Courtney Smith. A funeral service celebrating Lucile’s life will be at 11:00 am Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton with Rev.

Roger Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson. Visitation will be Wednesday, on March 6, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Animal Protection League through the funeral home. Online condolences can be given at www.
