Jean Bagwell Seigler, 90, former resident Lupo Drive and resident of Ashley Place, wife of James E. “Ed” Seigler, passed away April 22, 2018, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born October 18, 1927, in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Franklin and Mittie Wood Bagwell. She was a 1945 graduate of Greenwood High School and retired from West Side Baptist Church as the financial secretary.

Surviving in addition to her husband of over 70 years are two daughters, Susan S. (Tommy) Dixon of Greenwood and Carol S. (George) Bell of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Sioux, Jamey, Maggie, Cody and Jared Seigler, Herbie Dixon and Robin H. Williams and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James E. Seigler, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 Wednesday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Alvin Hodges officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rearden, Lynn Doolittle, Cody Seigler, Jared Seigler, Rick Dixon and Justin Brooks.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Memorials may be made to Alzeihmer’s Association, Upstate Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd. , Suite L., Anderson, SC 29621.
