Jean’s Obituary Jean Eva Buckholt King, age 87, of Lexington passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Accordius Health of Lexington. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Augsburg Lutheran Church conducted by Reverend Wolner and the burial will be at a later date in PA. The family will see friends after the service at the church.

Mrs. King was born October 15, 1931 in Washington County, PA to James Robert Buckholt and Pauline Catherine Verkleeren Buckholt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewis Reed King; a son, Richard Alan King and a grandson, Richard Stephens. Jean was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles and James Buckholt.

Surviving are a son, David King (Karen) of PA. Her daughters, Janice Stephens (Terry) of Winston Salem, Cathy Mills (Charles) of PA and Leigh Anne Walkush (Scott) of Pfafftown. Her grandchildren, David King, Zachary Stephens, Samuel Mills, Pauline Stephens, Evan Walkush and Calla Walkush.

Her brother, Paul Buckholt (Helen) of PA.
