Jeanne Forsee Diaz, 72, of Bardstown, passed away Friday May 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1946 in Bardstown, a retired registered nurse at Jewish Hospital, a master gardener, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Diaz; parents, Dr. Tyre Guy “Tink” and Irene Forsee; two brothers, John C. Forsee, and David O. Forsee; and sister, Helen Cabrini Forsee.

She is survived by four sons, Jerry Lear, Jeff (Beth) Lear, Joe (Serena) Lear, and Jason (Hannah) Diaz all of Bardstown; eleven grandchildren, Emily Lear, Amelia Hensley, Helena Lear, Adam Lear, Olivia Lear, Evelyn Lear, J.D. Lear, Savannah Lear, Sammy Diaz, Raquel Diaz, and Shane Diaz; six great-grandchildren, Lilly Nickles, Leo Nickles, Sadie Miller, Sawyer Miller, Lyla Hensley, and Ellis Hensley; three sisters, Patsy Smith, and Peggy Dones both of Bardstown, and Kathy Gordon of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, Terry Forsee, and Michael Forsee both of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews. Her Memorial Mass will 11:00 am Wednesday May 9, 2018 at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Tuesday May 8 and 9 to 10:15 am Wednesday May 9 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to American Cancer Society or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
