Obituary for Jeffrey Anthony Lathrop GRAPEVINE – Jeffrey Lathrop, 63, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville, TX. Memorials: Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, which Jeff supported for over 30 years of his life.

Jeff was born Oct. 22, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI to George Lathrop and Marion Korpnick. He attended school at MATC and obtained an Associates’s Degree as a surgical assistant before becoming a salesman, and later regional manager, in the greeting card and poster industry.

In 1983, he married the love of his life and best friend, Lori Cisewski. They moved to the Chicago area and later, in 1996, to Colleyville, TX. Jeff’s passions in life were his family, golfing, bowling, and fishing.

He loved to share his knowledge with others and was overjoyed to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Jeff was preceded in death by his late parents; his step-father Clifford Schmit; and his granddaughter Callie Lathrop. Survivors: wife, Lori Lathrop; brothers, Rich and George Lathrop; step-brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Schmit; step-sister, Mary Pat Mackowski, children, Jeffery, Jesse and wife Holly, Chelsea and husband Justin Bell, and Devin; six grandchildren; and countless loving family, friends, and co-workers.
