Jeffrey’s Obituary Jeffrey John Osment, 60, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 06, 1958 in Wichita, KS to his parents, Herman “Jim” Osment, Jr. and Geraldine “Jerry” Beardsley. Jeff loved to go boating, camping, watching home movies, shooting guns and going to concerts.

He was a member of Mount Hermon Church of Jay, OK. Jeff was always a great provider for his family. He made sure they was always taken care of.

Jeff is preceded in death by his dad, Jim Osment, Jr.; Grandparents, Dilward and Gloren Beardsley, Uncle Richard and Aunt Vivian Beardsley. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Osment of 32 years of the home; 2 children, Lauren Osment of Jay, OK and Ryan Osment of Jay, OK; mother, Jerry Osment of Wichita, KS; sister, Jill Lokke and husband John of Brownsville, NE; 2 uncles, Jack Beardsley of Valley Center, KS and Phill Beardsley and wife Sonya of Washington; many, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Jeff’s family visitation to greet friends will be held 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray, St., Jay, OK 74346.

Jeff’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 2:00pm, January 24, 2019 at Mount Hermon Church, 18035 E 420 Rd, Jay, OK 74346 with Jeremy Colvard officiating. Burial to follow at Snell Cemetery, Jay, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
