Bonnie’s Obituary Bonnie Sue Denning, 65, answered her final call on January 17, 2019 at her home in Monkey Island, Oklahoma. The Lord said, “Well done my child, it’s time to come home and rest! ” She was born on July 23, 1953 in Gallup, New Mexico to Charles Smith and Nora Allman-Smith.

Later moving to Bonner Springs, Ks. There she finished school and loved riding her horses around her country home. When it was time to slow down in life, she nestled in on her favorite fishing hole of all, at Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Oklahoma.

Bonnie enjoyed out-fishing all the ole veteran fisherman at Bernice bridge, watching the Chiefs football games, needle point, hanging out with her friends, going to the casinos, making her award winning chocolate cake and cooking for her special friends, relaxing peacefully on her deck watching the birds dance and the cows graze as the sunset most evenings and long country road drives in the fall. Most dear to her heart she loved her fur babies, Auggie and Lulu. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nora Smith; Papa Turner Cochran, 2 sisters, Sandy and Kitty Smith.

Bonnie is survived by her 4 sisters, Peggy White of NM, Pat Lifke of NM, Ed and Rita Baumgartner of CA and Sally Wilson of Ks ; Forever Soul Sister, Becky Herrell and children, Shelby and Nate Maas, Kelby, Austin, Allie Quint and granddaughter Idaline Grace Maas and most dearest to her, 2 precious fur babies, Auggie and LuLu; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. Bonnie’s family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering March 10, 2019 at Fairview cemetery in Tuttle, Ok. 10:30 AM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK 74344 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
