Edna’s Obituary Edna Waunita Dollarhide, 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her residence in Jay, OK. She was born on September 29, 1927 in Prairie Grove, AR to her parents, Omery Finney and Ella Maire Slaughter-Finney. Edna’s past time was crocheting, canning, crossword puzzles, visit on the phone with family and friends.

Edna loved going for drives when the leaves were turning colors. Spring time was her favorite time of year. Edna also loved her flowers and watching the birds.

Edna will be missed by all who knew her. Edna is preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; 1 son; 2 grandsons; 1 great-great-great grandson. She is survived by 2 sons, Clarence Hamilton and wife Dorothy and their son of the home, All from Gravette, AR and Jerry Hamilton of Joplin, MO; 2 daughters, Polly Barrett and husband Orval of Decatur, AR and Angie Hamilton of Jay, OK; 1 grandchild; 22 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren; her precious fur baby, Spud; a host of other relatives and friends.

Edna’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 4:00-6:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Edna’s Celebration Of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 2:00pm, March 20, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes Chapel, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK. Burial will be at Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, MO.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
