Richard’s Obituary Richard Edgar Zornes, Jr., 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Miami, OK. He was born on September 14, 1963 in Colony, Kansas to Richard Edgar Zornes, Sr. and Joan Marie Karr-Zornes. Richard loved his kids and grandkids, fishing, helping his friends and loved his friends.

Richard loved talking to his friends about his kids even though he never got to see them much. Richard was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Zornes, Sr, Miami, OK and maternal and paternal grandparents. Richard is survived by his mom, Joan Zornes, Miami, OK; 5 children, Kimberly Zornes, Miami, OK, James Zornes, Baxter Springs, KS, Crystal Zornes, Tulsa, OK, Marie Zornes and Bradly Zornes both of Harrison, AR; 4 grandkids, Bailey Sparks, Kaylynn Sparks, Brooklyn Zornes, Jackson Zornes; brother, James Zornes, Americus, KS; sister, Tammy Zornes, Miami, OK; many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Richard’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 10:00am, March 9, 2019 at Windridge Nursing and Rehab Center, 2530 N. Elm St., Miami, OK 74354. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK 74344 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
