Charlotte’s Obituary Charlotte Ann Turner-Keener, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born December 31, 1943 in Jay, Oklahoma to Isaac Turner and Hester Mae Gourd-Turner. She graduated from Jay High School of Jay, OK and went to Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS to receive her Associates Degree.

Charlotte then went on to receive her Certified Medical Aid Certificate and was a CMA for years. She loved music, spending time with her family, playing cards, cooking, and her favorite candy of choice were suckers. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Hester Turner; her siblings and father of her children and lifelong friend, Craig Lieb.

She is survived by her 6 children, Valerie Simmons and husband Harvey of Ponca City, OK, Kimberly Martinez of Ponca City, OK, William Lieb and wife Kimberly of Grove, OK, Warren Lieb of Cuba, MO, Steffanie Medrano of Ponca City, OK and Rose Lieb of Pawhuska, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Charlotte’s Wake Service will be held on Monday, 7:00pm, March 11, 2019 at Piney Baptist Church of Jay, OK, followed by her family visitation to greet friends until 9:00pm. The family of Charlotte Keener invites everyone to join them to a light supper at the Church before her Wake Service at 5:00pm.

Charlotte’s Celebration Of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00pm, Piney Baptist Church, D4343 Rd. , Jay, OK 74346 with Rev. Jess Jones, Rev.

Stanley Grass and Junior Loftis Officiating. Everyone is invited to lunch at noon before Charlotte’s Celebration Life Funeral Service with her family. Burial will be held at O’Field Cemetery, Jay, OK.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray, St. Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
