Jordan’s Obituary Jordan Severin Davis, age 37, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 15, 2019. He was born April 4, 1981 in Lawrence, Kansas to Johnnie Lee Davis and Julie Ann Hultgren-Davis. Jordan graduated from in the class of 1999, from Free State High School, in Lawrence, KS.

He also attended Kansas University and Art Institutes of Kansas City. He was known throughout Kansas City, MO for his Fiber Optic Skills. Jordan loved pool and was a semi-pro player.

He was a member of local leagues and won many, many pool tournaments including the Midwest 9 Ball Championship in 2009. He competed in multiple national Las Vegas tournaments as well. He loved to mentor young players and teach them the secrets of smart playing as well as demonstrate jaw-dropping trick shots.

He could fix everything and was a natural with electronics, carpentry, and automobiles, especially detailing. Jordan was a friend to all and was a great entertainer and performer. People he met didn’t remain strangers for long and he took every opportunity to be a Good Samaritan when needed.

He loved to travel and led family trips all over Europe and the United States. He also loved coming back home to visit his family in Oklahoma every summer to play and swim at the creek and especially in August for Jay Cruise Night. Jordan shared with his family and friends that the utmost accomplishment of his life was his children, Quinton and Kennedy.

Jordan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Vernal Hultgren and Bessie and Quinton Davis; cousins, Kendall Kirby and Stevie Lee Davis; devoted Boxers pups Dakota and Silas. He is survived by his significant other, Heather Conley of Lee’s Summit, MO; son, Quinton C. Davis of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter,Kennedy Davis of Lee’s Summit, MO; mother, Julie Davis of Lee’s Summit, MO; father, John Davis of Jay; sister, Jill Roper and husband Drew of Commerce, GA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, and family pets Daisy and Rocky. Jordan’s Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, 6:00pm, February 20, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346, followed by his family visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm.

Jordan’s Celebration Of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00pm, Piney Baptist Church, D4343 Rd. , Jay, OK 74346 with Rev. Jess Jones Officiating.

Burial will be held at O’Field Cemetery, Jay, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray, St. Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
