Roberta M. Mondry, age 64, of Grove passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at Integris Grove General Hospital. Roberta was born on November 20, 1954 to Robert and Donna (Parrish) Mondry in Chicago, Illinois where she grew up and graduated high school. She later traveled to Hemet, California where she lived for nearly 20 years, and eventually moved to Grove where she has resided for the last 10 years.

Roberta was a homemaker and a joy to be around. She was a wonderful, fun-loving, spunky gal with a big heart and a multitude of talents, who could occasionally exhibit a smidgeon of a stubborn streak when she wanted to. Her loving personality was infectious to all around her and she was always the first to volunteer to assist anyone who might be in need.

She was an excellent cook and delighted in preparing meals for her family, and took great pleasure in the compliments she received for her delicious meals. Roberta’s favorite pastime was gardening and her green thumb was very evident in the plants and flowers she tenderly cared for. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Michael and Brian. Survivors include her daughter Ashley Mondry and husband Martin Moore of Grove; grandchildren Aryanna and Ayden Moore; her devoted partner of 20 years Brian Blankenship; her brother Shawn Mondry and sister Dawn Mondry, both of California. Services are pending with Nichols-Stephens Funeral and Cremation Services.
