Martha’s Obituary Martha Marie Martino, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Jay, OK. She was born on February 12, 1937 in Delaware County, OK to her parents, Roy Arthur Hughes, Sr. and Iola Ether Burton. Martha worked 19 years with Hudson Food in Noel, MO, now known as Tyson’s Food.

She loved gardening, taking care of her flowers, watching her deer on her porch while drinking coffee and enjoying the beauty of the open field and view. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Martha is preceded in death by her husband Bob Martino; son, Cecil Barnes and granddaughter, Tena Wilkinson.

She is survived by her 3 children, Katherine (Kathy) Wilkinson of Jay, Ok, Loyd Barnes of Jay, OK, Virgil Barnes and wife Joni of Winfield, KS; grandchildren, Crystal Wickham and husband Rocky of Jay, OK, Nichole Mathis and husband Tim of Jay, OK, Allison Barnes of Jay, OK, Amanda Johnson and husband Jon of Douglas, KS, Cody Barnes and wife Alex of Wichita, KS, Dustin Barnes and wife Krystyn of Douglas, KS, Lindsey Boyer and husband Tim of Douglas, KS, Shelby Barnes and Fiance’ Jason Beaver of Winter Haven, FL; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Ina Hughes of CA, Roy Hughes, Jr. of Gentry, AR, Opal Bryant and husband Louis of Jay, OK, Patricia (Pat) Turner and husband Vernon of Grove, OK, Pamela (Pam) Evans and husband Robert of Jay, OK; Aunt, Gladys Wilkins and husband Charles of Eucha, OK; 2 uncles, Ken Burton and wife Eleanor of Jay, OK and Houston Burton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, extended family and friends. Martha’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Martha’s Celebration Of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 2:00pm, February 2, 2019 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes Chapel, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK with Rev.
