Jerel “Rello” Glenn, 29, of Marquette, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kalkaska on Monday, November 19, 2018. Rello was born on April 14, 1989 in Marquette to Nelson and Eileen (Brondi) Glenn and had been a lifelong area resident where he had attended Marquette Area Public Schools. He was formerly employed as a chef at Coco’s restaurant, Wahlstrom’s restaurant as well as other restaurants in the area.

He is survived by two children, Jaylei and Kyson, and their mother, Kylee Rae Shaw; his mother, Eileen Brondi of Marquette; step-mother, Susan Smart of Marquette; five brothers, Andre, Amadeus, Aaron, Logan and “Duke”; seven sisters, Shareen, Alice, Alena, Denaige, AleyaLei, Samantha, and Amanda; special friend, Cassie Gasman; many cousins including a special cousin, Tony Glenn; also a host of other friends and extended family who loved Rello dearly.

Preceding him in death was his father, Nelson Glenn in 2001; a brother, Nelson “Tre” Glenn; paternal grandparents, Eugenia Wilson and Ed Louis Glenn; maternal grandparents, Vera and Bertrand Brondi; uncles, Douglas Glenn and Samuel Tolbert; also his best friend, Adam Campbell. A funeral service will be held in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28th at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Olson officiating Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
