Obituary of Jerome Gosser Jerome Theodore Gosser, 90, went to be with the Lord at 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Trustbridge Hospice in Boca Raton, FL. He was born to Walter and Louise (Vida) Gosser, Sr., in Dormont, PA, on December 20, 1928, and lived most of his life in Grant County. He married his loving bride, Patsy Elizabeth Nalley, and she preceded him in death on May 26, 2000.

Jerome was a graduate of Gas City High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He held memberships with the VFW and American Legion, and he retired from the trucking business, where he was a manager. In Jerome’s younger years, he coached all three of his sons’ Little League teams in Three-Way Recreation.

He was also an avid fisherman and went fishing every opportunity he could. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sons, Terry M. (Lynne) Gosser, CA, Tom S. (fiancée Stephenie) Gosser, Jonesboro, and Ted A. (Lynn) Gosser, Fairmount; grandchildren, Sarah (Kyle) Petersen, Zach Gosser, Brandon (Maryjo) Gosser, Lyndsey (Caleb) Crandall, Kalie (Billy) Jones, Emily (Taylor) Ivy, Kristin (Dave) Tutrone, and Derek Thompson; great-grandchildren, Meika, Zane, Ian, Levi, Lazereth, Caleb, Merrick, Remy, Layla, Carter, Serena, and Raymond; sister, Delores Snyder; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Barb Lopes.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter, Jr.. A memorial visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, Jerome’s memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating.
