Obituary of Donna Ditton Donna L. Ditton December 26, 1934 ~ January 4, 2019 Donna L. Ditton, 84, lifelong resident of Marion, passed away at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine at 12:00 a.m. on January 4, 2019. She was born in Marion on December 26, 1934, to the late Lute and Marie (Clifton) Stanley. She married Jack L. Ditton on October 1, 1954 and he preceded her in death on January 12, 1997.

Donna graduated from Marion High School and worked at RCA for 17 ½ years. After RCA, she worked for Kmart in Marion in the layaway, jewelry and pharmacy departments until she retired in 1996. She loved to play euchre with her friends and family.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for making excellent German chocolate cake, beef and noodles, and fried chicken. Donna was a family centered woman. She cherished her grandchildren and there was nothing she would not do for her family.

Donna is survived by her children, Teresa L (Joe) Ice, Marion, Kathy L. Ditton, Marion, and Jack L (Gayle) Ditton, Marion; grandchildren, Joe (Stephanie) Ice II, Jennifer (Michael) Reed, Wade (Maria) Ditton, Lee (Kyle) Ditton, Joshua (Jevon) Elliott, and Jared (Angie) Elliott; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews who were very close to her, as well as many friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna is also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Gail Ditton; sisters, Margie, Maxine and Rosie; and brothers Charles and Gene. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.

, Marion, IN. Donna’s funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 p.m. with her grandson Joshua Elliott officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed Heart to Heart Hospice 1385 N. Baldwin Ave.
