Jerry W. Lambert, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 3:42am at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky. Jerry was born on January 9, 1945 in Parsons, West Virginia, to Eric and Jean (Roth) Lambert. He was raised by his grandparents, Mark and Perninie Lambert.

He is survived by a son Jerry W. (Charlotte) Lambert, Jr., of Lilesville, North Carolina, along with 2 grandchildren. Jerry also is survived by 2 aunts, Wilma Winter of Upper Sandusky, Anna (Marv) Weidemeyer of Mansfield, Ohio, and 2 uncles, Emmett Lambert of Elkins West Virginia, and Kenneth Lambert of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, along with a special friend, Sheila Tullis of Columbus, Ohio.

He was a 1963 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and went on to graduate from the Ohio Technical College, receiving his Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Jerry worked throughout his life as an IT Technician for various Columbus area businesses. He was of the Christian faith and loved to read his bible, work on his computer along with other electronics, and also loved to play piano and organ. Graveside services for Jerry W. Lambert will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County, or Gideons International and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
