Beverly “Bev” J. Piper, age 68, of Kenton, Ohio, peacefully left us on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:40am at her residence in Kenton with her family by her side. Beverly was born on May 24, 1950 to the late William “Bill” Franklin and Rhea Madge (Bacon) Henicle, who survives in Kenton. She is survived by her daughters, Mindy (Zack) Amweg of Kenton and Mandy (Tom) Shoe of Degraff, and seven grandchildren: Alexus, Ethan, Tyler, Billy, Olivia, Camden and Liam.

Five siblings also survive: Barbara Carothers, of Kenton, Sharon (Terry) Bosley of Kenton, Billy Joe (Ruth) Henicle of Tennessee, Nancy (Vernon) Moyer of North Carolina, and Larry Henicle of Forest, as well as many nieces and nephews. Beverly is also survived by her daughter’s father, Doug Piper. Bev served her country in the United States Air Force from 1970-1972.

She was a life member of AMVETS Post 1994 in Kenton, Ohio. Beverly loved to bowl, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. A Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, July 19, at AMVETS Post 1994 in Kenton, Ohio.

A visitation time for family and friends will follow the service at the AMVETS. It is the family’s wish that the attire for the day be casual. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita’s Hospice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave.
