Obituary for Jesse Lynch Jesse Lynch, 97, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday May 27, 2018 in Elizabethtown. He was born in La Follette, Tennessee to James and Lucinda Lynch. Jesse was a member of the European African Middle Eastern Coalition, a World War II Veteran, and earned four Bronze Stars during his time in the military.

After his time in the military, Jesse retired from civil service with L&N Railroad. He was a member of New River Worship Center, the VFW as well as the American Legion Post 113. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zola Mae Lynch, Daughter, Betty Lynch, and both parents.

He is survived by his three daughters Margaret (Victor) Stueve, Elaine (Jack) Tankersley, and Janie Riser; three sons, David Lynch, John (Joyce) Lynch, and Bruce Lynch; 19 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, one Great-Great-Grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 5, 2018 11:00 am at Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown in with Pastor Michael Willingham officiating. Burial will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky with full Military Honors.
