Obituary for Robert Eugene “Gene” Wright Robert Eugene “Gene” Wright, 86, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in New Haven to Robert and Alice Puckett Wright. Gene was an Army Veteran.

He was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. Upton Masonic Lodge FandAM 76. American Legion Post 113 Elizabethtown, Retired Federal Employee, Retired Postal Worker at Ft.

Knox. and a Farmer. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Patricia “Pat” Wright, and Parents.

He is survived by his Son, Robert “Bob” M. Wright of Elizabethtown, KY, Daughter, Cathy (Hunter) Wright Cornett of Lexington, KY, Sister, Velma Devine of Gilbert, AR, Grandchildren, Matthew (Jessie) Wright, Alexandra Cornett, Makayle Wright, Taylor Wright, Andersen Cornett, and 3 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 19, 2018 12:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY With Pastor Joe Thomas officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery with Military Honors Visitation will be Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
