Funeral service will be held Sunday February 10, 2019 1:00pm at Don Brown Funeral Home. Address: 497 Second Street, Ayden, NC Burial will follow in Mills Family Cemetery in Winterville, NC.

Mr. Brown was a truck driver and a Denver Broncos fan. He is survived by his wife, Betty Brown of home; one son, Jessie James Brown Jr. of Ayden, NC; three daughters, Angela Brown of Ayden, NC, Gwendolyn Brown and Glenda Horton of Greenville, NC; four brothers, Lindsey Brown and Julius Lee Brown both of Ayden, NC, Morris Brown of Greenville, NC and Leo Brown of Tennessee; four sisters, Bernice Whitehurst and Shirley Brown of Ayden, NC, Evonne Hagans of Snow Hill, NC and Dianne Parker of Greenville, NC. nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
