Obituary for John A Romeo Jr. Funeral Mass for John A. Romeo Sr., 83, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.

Mr. Romeo passed away Nov. 8, 2018, in Pennsylvania. Born Feb.

3, 1935, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 61 years, living in Wickliffe before moving to Mentor. John was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, and an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing on his property in Pennsylvania. He was also a great listener, known as “Mr. Fix-It”.

and had received an honorary engineering degree. Mr. Romeo had been the owner of J & J Machine Company in Euclid since 1965, and still worked there! John was the beloved husband of 64 years to Natalie C. (nee Marini) Romeo; loving father of Denise A. (Tom) Irving and John A. Romeo Jr.; cherished grandfather of Johnny Romeo, Erica (Tony) Tortorici, Alan Irving, Christopher Romeo, Desiree Romeo and Ryan Romeo; great-grandfather of Anthony, Alissa, Alaniz, and Layla; brother of Jim (Angie) Romeo, Rosie (Dick) Koenig, Tom (Peggy) Romeo, Pete (Cherie) Romeo, Phil (Dorothy) Romeo, Emilio (Lillian) Romeo, Angela (Don) Kingsmill and Jeanne (Lee) Geronimo; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael V. Romeo; daughter-in-law, Diane Romeo; and parents, Rosario and Rose (nee DiPala) Romeo. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.
