Obituary for John Houston John D. Houston, 77, of Grand Tower, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Manor Court of Carbondale, IL. John was born on December 19, 1940, in Grand Tower, Illinois, to John D. Houston and Mary Ellen (Cripps) Houston. Mr. Houston was a farmer.

He is survived by two brother Fred Houston and Henry Houston, both of Grand Tower, IL. He was preceded in death by one sister, five brothers and his parents. His body will be cremated and a gravesite service at Walker Hill Cemetery will be held at a later date .
