John’s Obituary John Eric Lewallen, 48, of Gastonia, passed away January 18, 2019, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born June 4, 1970, in Gaston County, son of the late Jimmy Ray Lewallen Sr. and Barbara Anne Chitwood Lewallen. John loved to travel and visit antique stores and auctions and enjoyed restoring old antiques.

Left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Jimmy Lewallen Jr. and companion, Brenda Richardson, David Froneberger; sisters, Debbie Kirchner, Penny Bradley; nieces and nephews, Erica, Jessica, Marcy, Holly, Derek, Coley, and Miranda; several great nieces and nephews; and companion, Rita Guffie. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia.
