John’s Obituary John Phillip Moore, 53, of East Alton, IL, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed away Thurs. Feb. 21, 2019 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born June 5, 1965 in Fort Dix, New Jersey to Leonard ‘Leon” and Darlene (nee: Hardas) Moore. John was most at home when he was in his hunting stand. He and Bonita Rose McCall were married Apr.

7, 2000 in Granite City, IL. She survives in East Alton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Summer Moore; 2 step-daughters: Tiffany (Tommy) Hoskins and Donna Schlake all of Granite City; a step-son: Richard (Racheal) Schlake of Christopher, IL; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and good friend Kimberly Long.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Jaxon McCall. Per his wishes he was cremated. Professional cremation services entrusted to the care of Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory of Granite City, IL.
