Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn J. Wells (nee Hutchinson) passed away peacefully at her home on March 14, 2019. She was born December 14, 1938 in Centralia, IL to Aroma & Dorothy (True) Hutchins. She married Cleo Wells on June 13, 1955 in Mt.

Vernon, IL. He preceded her in death July 26, 2011. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed painting, crafts and spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia Powell and Lisa Caldwell both of Granite City; 5 grandchildren: Robert Wells, Stephanie (Fred) SanSoucie, Amber Morlen, Stacie (Kevin) Perigo and Jamie Fisk; 10 great-grandchildren: Taylor Oehlecker, Hannah and Kaitlynn Perigo, Trenton, Trevor, Tristen, Terry, Talia and Trinity Gilman and Freddie SanSoucie; and a sister: Judith (Marvin) Broviak of North Carolina. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Jimmie Wells; 2 great-grandchildren: Trista and Tanner; and a brother: Robert Hutchins. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Donoho Cemetery in Texico, IL.
