Lenora’s Obituary Lenora Elvina Vaughn, 90, of Granite City, IL passed away at her home at 7:30 a.m. Sat. Mar. 9, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born Sept. 2, 1928 in Hawk Point, MO to the late Frank & Alice Lorraine (Mueth) Baker. On July 1, 1950, she and Charles E. Vaughn were married in Ashburn, MO.

He survives in Granite City. In addition to her husband of almost 69 years, she is survived by 5 children: Delores Vaughn of Granite City, Anita (Ray) Emerson of Highland, IL, Mary (Mike) Brenner of O’Fallon, MO, Joyce (Jim) Conway of Collinsville, IL and Ray (Lynette) Vaughn of Granite City; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother: Richard Baker of St. Louis, MO and 2 sisters: Alice Throckmorton and Eileen Wade of Salem, AR. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Vaughn and 6 brothers and sisters.
