Freddie’s Obituary Freddie L. Webb, 80, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 4:46 p.m. Sat. Mar. 9, 2019 at his home while under hospice care surrounded by his family.

He was born Oct. 4, 1938 in Poplar Bluff, MO to the late Noah & Nokie (Wilson) Webb. On Oct.

8, 1959, he and Kathryn Louise Ragsdale were married in Poplar Bluff, MO. She preceded him in death Feb. 26, 2018.

Freddie retired from Curtis Toledo after more than 30 years of service. He loved to fish, garden, build things and was known to his family as an excellent baker and candy maker. Survivors include 3 daughters: Merna Thompson Brenda (Dennis) Heiman and Sherry (Mark) Hall all of Granite City; 5 grandchildren: Rachel (Jeremy) Crawford, Jennifer Thompson, Alexander Heiman, Ashley Heiman and Shelby Hall; 2 sisters: Juanita Shroud of Searcy, AR and Lola Talley of Peoria, IL; and he was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild.
