John’s Obituary John W. Reynolds, Sr. (also known as “Pete”), 92 of Myrtle Beach went to be with his Lord on February 1, 2019. He was born in Elkton, MD to Marion (Wolf) and Charles Reynolds. He married Nancy L. Yeager on April 13, 1956.

Pete graduated from Germantown Academy (Philadelphia, PA) and attended University of MD and Johns Hopkins University. Pete worked in construction in the Maryland area most of his career. Upon retirement, he and Nancy moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC.

He worked with Habitat for Humanity of Horry County for 11 years. Pete is survived by his wife, Nancy, 4 children: Joycelyn (Doug) Gallois, Suzette (Charlie) Schulze, John W. Reynolds, Jr. and Sharon (Rusty) Romo. He has 9 grandchildren, I great grandchild and 3 step grandchildren.

A celebration/memorial service will be held at Risen Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 17 N, Myrtle Beach, SC) on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at noon. A light luncheon will follow the service in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, his request was for donations to be made to Risen Christ Lutheran Church and Habitat for Humanity of Horry County.
