John’s Obituary John L. Toscani passed away peacefully on March 19, 2019 @Autumn Care of Shallotte in North Carolina. Born March 2, 1942, he was a son of the late Lawrence & Grace Toscani, he also pre-deceased by his brother, Larry Toscani and his nephew Tommy Toscani. John is survived by his spouse of 57 years, Kathleen Toscani, his 5 siblings, nephew and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

John was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandpa and friend to everyone. John was born and raised in New York. He retired in Calabash, North Carolina.

John became a member of the Calabash Elks in 2005 and was and remained a Tiler of the Elks for many years until he was admitted into Autumn Care of Shallotte. John loved to hunt, and was a great fan of the NY Mets and the NY Jets. He also loved to garden, his hobbies were Lionel trains, aquariums and his love for the oldies but goodies music.

A special thank you to the nursing staff @ Autumn Care of Shallotte for their care and support. Also we would like to thank Amedisys Home Health & Hospice Care. There will be a mass for freinds & family held @ St Brendan’s Church in Shallotte on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10:00am.
