Obituary for Johnny Lee Threadgill Johnny Lee Threadgill, 66, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Monday, December 31, 2018. Johnny was born March 2, 1952 to Henry and Novella Threadgill. He leaves behind a loving family; his wife, Linda, of 49 years; his daughter, Trena Tillery and husband, Dale; his son, Joshua (J.D.) Threadgill and wife, Audrey; three granddaughters, Dacy Tillery, Alana Burnett and husband, Clint, Allie Gore and a very special pet, Sarah.

He is also survived by his brothers, Jim Threadgill and Elwin Threadgill; a sister, Barbara and husband, Franklin (Stubbs) Schmick; sister-in-law, Linda K. Threadgill of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Novella Threadgill and brother, Allen Threadgill. He loved his Church and Lord, family, friends and the Gilmer Buckeyes.

He was a master of bricklaying with buildings all around. Being a brick mason was his calling whom he shared with many, especially his son, Joshua. Services will be held at the Chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 2, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro.

Clay Potter and Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to Concord Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Johnny Threadgill. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation of out pouring love and prayers during Johnny’s illness.
