Obituary for Johnny R. Riojas Johnny R. Riojas, 57, died Friday November 23, 2018 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born August 6, 1961 in Lubbock, Texas to Pete and Mary (Calderon) Riojas. Johnny attended schools in Burlington, Wyoming.

He later moved to Garden City and worked for Tyson as a Clod Puller. He loved watching football, especially cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. He was a talented woodcrafter and created many unique pieces.

His hobbies included tinkering with motorcycles and playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his father Pete Riojas Sr. and three siblings- Dora Ann Riojas, Joey Riojas and Manny Riojas. Survivors include his son, John Gabriel Riojas; his mother Mary Riojas; a step daughter- Tammy Valenzuela Lores; siblings-MaryJane Hankinson, Pete Riojas Jr., Frank Riojas, Norma Martinez, Julie Urias, Sandra Rincones, Mark A. Riojas, Adrian L. Riojas and Andres Riojas & 5 grandchildren- Mireya Jade Riojas, Victoria Lores, Kaitlyn Lores, Minerva Lores, Jenevieve Lores and Jonathan Lores.

A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 PM on Friday November 30, 2018 at Garnand Funeral Home with Robert DeLeon Officiating.
