Joleen’s Obituary Joleen (Scott) McGuirt, loving wife of Don, amazing Sister, Aunt, other Mom, Grandma and Neen was suddenly taken from us much too soon and unexpectedly due to cardiac failure on Friday, February 15 at her home in Blue Eye. (Luanna) Joleen Scott was born in Fort Scott, Kansas on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1943 to Robert and Josephine (Wilder) Scott. The Scott family moved to the lakes area in 1959 where Joleen was a 1961 graduate of Blue Eye High School.

She later attended business school in Springfield, Missouri and pursued a very successful career as an executive assistant. She and her late husband, Richard “Hoss” Crouch owned Fin & Feather Resort, Joe Bald Area of Kimberling City. Joleen also worked for the telephone company in Branson as a dispatcher for a number of years.

Joleen is survived by her husband , Don McGuirt, her sister Lynette and husband, Rodney McClelland , Mike and wife, Stacy McClelland, Shannon and wife Brandy McClelland, Justin and wife, Laura McClelland, Jacob McConnell, Noah West, Kyle and Mark McClelland, Chris Niehaus and wife, Connie, and their children, Kyle, Clayton, & Jessica and her great-grandchildren, Fisher, Lorelai & Fynn. Joleen is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Robin Hudgins, of North Carolina, and Linda Scott, Greg, Jennifer & Rebecca Milburn, Jacob & Leah all of Northern California. Joleen was preceded in death by parents, Robert & Jo Scott, her brother, Ralph, great niece Whitnie McClelland and nephew, Robert Scott.

Joleen was loved for her warmth and genuine love for people! She had the gift of making everyone she met feel like family. Our lives will never be the same without her in it.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Home or the Shriners Hospital for Children Hospital in St. Louis. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Jerry Jenkins officiating at Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO. Interment will be at Blue Eye Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
