Louis ‘Lou”s Obituary Louis ‘Lou’ Dement, Kimberling City, MO, son of John and Ruth (Vandeveer) Dement, was born January 5, 1945 in Reynolds County, MO and departed this life on February 4, 2019 at the age of 74. Lou had lived in the area forty-three years, moving here from Granite City, IL. Lou had worked in maintenance all his life.

He enjoyed time on Table Rock Lake fishing and in later years he also loved to golf. Lou was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: two daughters, Melissa Dement of Kirbyville, MO and Glenna Dement of Springfield, MO; two sisters, Marlene Barton of Granite City, IL and Kathleen Keith of Springfield, MO and a host of other family and friends.

No service is being planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
