Obituary for Jonalyn Sue Rustem Jonalyn S.”Jonny” Rustem, Loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. Age 67 years. Daughter of the late William and Mary Jo (Smith) Reindel, Jonalyn was born September 13, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was married to Loren D. Rustem on December 15, 1972. He survives her. Jonalyn recently retired from the State of Michigan.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Jonalyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren, traveling with her husband and rock hunting at the Platte River. Surviving besides her husband Loren are two daughters, Amanda (Joshua) Caldwell, Berkley; Kate Rustem, Grand Rapids; two special grandchildren, Cole and Ellison Caldwell; her sister, Jennifer Pendleton, Grand Rapids; her brother, Thomas Reindel, Long Beach, California; many nieces, nephews and in-law’s.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams, Saginaw. Pastor Matthew Hauser will officiate. Honoring Jonny’s wishes, cremation will follow.

Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Camp Lu Lay Lea.
