Obituary for Jonathon M. Unangst WOOSTER – Jonathon M. Unangst, 32, of Wooster, formerly of Rittman, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born on October 21, 1985 in Medina to Daniel and Gladys (Vance) Unangst, and lived most of his life in Rittman before moving to Wooster. Jonny was a jack of all trades who could help and fix just about anything.

He was very artistic, and enjoyed drawing and prided himself in being a tattoo artist. He loved his son and his nieces and nephews, and was very protective of them. He was loved by his family for his contagious laugh, his sick sense of humor, and he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.

He is survived by his son Jonathon Skelly of Rittman; mother Gladys Unangst Vance of Wooster; brothers Dana Unangst of Georgia and James Unangst II of Wooster; sisters Melissa Unangst of South Carolina and Dena Unangst of Wooster; 8 nieces and nephews; his paternal grandmother Juanita Taylor of Georgia; and his dog Kisez. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Unangst in 2014, brother-in-law Michael Phillips in 2003, maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with burial following at Rittman Cemetery.

Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services on Friday, from 10-11am, at the funeral home. Auble-Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is assisting the family. For online register book, obituary, condolences, visit www.
