Obituary for Virginia L. “Ginny” Moser Virginia L. “Ginny” Moser, age 90, of Orrville, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at her home in Orrville, following a period of declining health. Ginny was born on February 4, 1928, in Orrville, to Merle and Matilda (Riggenbach) Saurer, graduated from Orrville High School in 1946, and married Merle R. Moser on July 20, 1946, in Orrville. Merle, her husband of 65 years, died on November 26, 2011.

She worked a short time as a phone operator and then for Westinghouse Corporation in Orrville for a few years, retiring in 1958 to make her family’s home. Ginny was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Orrville and was a 50 year member of The Eastern Star. She enjoyed animals and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Mark (Ling) Moser of Okeechobee, FL, Richard (Tammy) Moser of Orrville; three grandchildren, Timothy (Roxy) Moser of Wooster, Kat (Tim) Marker of New Philadelphia, and Calvin (Caitlin Raudabaugh) Moser of Orrville; step-grandson, Siyu Chen of Okeechobee, FL; great grandchildren, Trevor, Tessa, Titus, and Zack; brother, Richard Saurer of Orrville; sister, Jean Ann (Dennis) Adcock of Orrville, sister-in-law, Pat Saurer or Orrville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Merle, on November 26, 2011; and brother, Donald M. Saurer in 2001. Private graveside services took place at the convenience of the family.
