Obituary for Maxine S. Nussbaum Maxine S. Nussbaum, 89, of Rittman, formerly of Ravenna and Orrville died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman. She was born March 22, 1929 in New Matamoris, Ohio to the late Carl and Edna (Moore) Straub and lived most of her life in Orrville and Ravenna. Maxine graduated from Rittman High School in the class of 1947 and was employed by Brimfield Poultry Farm Market; Rittman Electric Company; Sarah Coventry Jewelry sales and was a Homemaker.

She was a devoted member of Chapel Hill Church in Cuyahoga Falls and will be remembered for having a strong faith in Christ and being a prayer warrior. She was in the Mother’s Study Club in Orrville and enjoyed singing in the church choir and reading. Surviving are sons, Richard (Cyndie) Yoder of Orrville, Randyll Yoder of Georgia, Mitchell (Darlene) Yoder of Wooster and Scott Yoder of South Carolina; daughters, Victoria (Quinton) Noble of Creston and Valori (Steve) Seifried of Orrville; grandchildren, Hannah (Andrew) Milley of Georgia, Caleb Currier of Grove City, Kristin Yoder of Colorado, Brandon Yoder of Orrville, Eric Yoder, Madison Yoder and Garrett Yoder all of South Carolina; and great grandchildren, Maya and Madelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Richard Yoder; second husband, Aldis Nussbaum; sister, Wilda Gasser; and brother-in-law, Roy Gasser. Services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Church, 1160 Howe Ave. , Cuyahoga Falls, OH with Pastor Adam Harper officiating.

Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Rd.
