Obituary of Josefa Sarroca Ms. Josefa “Pila” Ana Sarroca of Port Jervis, NY & formerly of Queens, NY died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Place, Port Jervis. She was 94. She was born June 1, 1924 in Salta, Argentina the daughter of the late Joseph Sarroca and the late Ana Gomez Sarroca.

Josefa worked as a Bookkeeper for United Artists Studios in Manhattan, NY which later became Turner Broadcasting. A family statement read: “The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Place for the loving and compassionate care Josefa received in her final days living in her home at St. Joseph’s Place”. Surviving are: Brother: Antonio Sarroca and his wife Rose Dallas, TX Sister: Joanna Gallagher Port Jervis, NY Nephew: Daniel Palermo and his wife Peg Otisville, NY Great niece: Jackie Slanovec and her husband Fred Otisville, NY Great niece: Nicole Lee and her husband Corey Middletown, NY Great niece: Lauren Palermo Middletown, NY Great niece: Danielle Rodriguez and her husband Jose Minisink, NY Also several great great nieces & great great nephews She was predeceased by her niece Irene Palermo and her brother-in-law Michael Palermo Visitation will be at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 5:00pm – 7:00pm followed by a Blessing Service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
