Joesph Collins, of Walnut Creek, California, born on December 5, 1943 in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Douglas Matthews and the late Ed Collins, passed away at age 74 on April 8, 2018 in Walnut Creek, California, 94595. Joe attended Eastern and Michigan University. Joe was an Underwriter in the Commercial Insurance industry until retiring in 2011.

Joe was married to Sally Collins. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Douglas Collins; and sister, Charlotte Barnes. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Sally Collins, his devoted son, Sean Collins; sister, Barbara Collins-Goldi; and grandchildren, Kaylin, Joseph, and Lucas Collins.

His lessons of love and compassionate spirit will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on April 28, 2018 10:00am at St Patrick Church, 135 Superior Blvd, Wyandotte, Michigan, 48192.
