Sidney Barry Corrie, Jr. Resident of Alamo December 25, 1940 – April 26, 2018 Sidney Corrie passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 26th. He touched countless lives throughout his journey and was loved and admired by many. We were all inspired by his positive “can-do” spirit through all the ups and downs of life.

Sidney was born in Hayward, CA, graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo and attended college at San Jose State University. He enjoyed a wonderfully successful 50-year career as a Bay Area Land Developer creating homes and businesses for thousands of Bay Area residents through his company, Corrie Development Corporation. He enjoyed boating, horseback riding, singing an occasional tune, spending time with friends and family and, of course, working.

Sidney is survived by his two grown children Barry and Kim, his three grandchildren; his loving wife, Robin, and his step-son, Jared. He is also survived by his sisters, Bonnie Corrie, Rosemary Corrie and Lucille Beyers and his brother, Bart Corrie, Sr. Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Friday May 4th, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the All Saints Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held thereafter at 10:30 a.m., also at the All Saints Catholic Church located at 22824 2nd St. in Hayward.

Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd. , Hayward.
