Manuel Teles Grego, Sr. 79, of Walnut Creek California died July 22, 2018 at home surrounded by family after a brave battle with cancer. Manuel was born June 1, 1939 in Iharo, Portugal and came to the United States at age 13 and became a proud cititzen. He served proudly in the Air Force for 4 years.

Manuel became a longshoreman, crane operator, and a clerk for 38 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Louise Grego, and daughter Lisa Marie Grego, brother Tony Grego and sister-in-law Luisa Grego, and sister-in-laws Elizabeth Fernandes, Phyllis Grego, and Marie Escobar and many nieces and nephews.

Manuel was proceded by death by his son Manuel Grego Jr, and his brother John Teles, Domingos Grego and Joe Fernandes. Viewing and Rosary will be held Thursday July 26th from 5-9pm at Hull’s Walnut Creek Chapel, 1139 Saranap Ave, Walnut Creek, CA 94595, Burial will take place Friday July 27th at 10am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549.
