Joyce A. Wesner December 03, 1937 – March 22, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Joyce Ann Wesner, 81, a resident of Milton, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the Evangelical Community Hospital at Lewisburg. Born Friday, December 3, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Lowell A. and Grace E. (Hironimus) Hettinger. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Donaud H. “Sonny” Wesner, on May 3, 2004.

His death broke a marital union of over 48 years. She was a 1955 graduate of Milton High School. Earlier in life Joyce had been employed by the former Bell Telephone Co. at Lewisburg as an operator and the former A & P Grocery Store at Milton.

She retired from Clasters Lumber at Milton. Joyce was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church at Milton for over 50 years. She was a former member of the church choir, trustees, worship team and mission team.

She was a member of the Milton Womens Club, the Valley Hatters (Formerly the Red Hatters), the Penn Wheelers Square Dance Club and volunteered at Love INC. Joyce enjoyed playing pinochle and riding motorcylces with Sonny. She is survived by one son, Donaud A. “Andy” and wife Nancy Wesner of Milton, PA; two step-grandchildren, Kim E. Bowers-Antolick and husband Jeffrey of Lewisburg, PA; Timothy M. and wife Angela Bowers of Milton, PA; two step-great grandchildren, Taylor Bowers and Wesley Bowers and one step-great-great grandson, Bryson Morris.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Janet M. Betzer. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 102 Lower Market St., Milton, PA 17847 with Rev.

Dale Hippensteel, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Milton Cemetery. The family will provide the flowers.
