Joyce C. Wallace, 84, of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. She was born December 27, 1933 in DeKalb County, Alabama to the late Isaac Jacob West and Kattie Jane Bowman West. Mrs. Wallace attended Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wallace and Irby E. “Trey” Wallace III officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

The family receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to missionary Tom Pace to Peru with Baptist International Missions, PO Box 9, Harrison, TN 37341. She is survived by her children, Jimmy (Margaret) Wallace, Irby (Norma) Wallace, Jerry Wallace, Billy (Phyllis) Wallace, and Joy (J.T.) Nail; sister, Christine (Loyd) Shelton; grandchildren, April Wallace Garrett (Carlos), Shane Wallace (Nakisha), Matthew Wallace, Sally Wallace Beaver, Irby E. “Trey” (Jessica) Wallace, III, Caleb (Sydney) Wallace, Kristy Wallace Duncan (Don), Joshua Wallace, Chris Wallace (Pascha), Terri Wallace Bailey, Tyke Berry (Jessica), Amanda Nail Chatman (Jeremy), and Kattie Nail; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby E. Wallace, Sr., her parents, and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Wallace.
