Greenfield – Joyce Ann (Lovell) Goodrich, age 79, of Greenfield, Indiana died peacefully surrounded by family on February 15, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 11, 1940, to Rufus and Juliette Lovell. She was a 1957 graduate of Broad Ripple High School.

Joyce married Lawrence C. Goodrich on December 20, 1957. Joyce loved gardening, cooking, music, singing, and was a church organist for many years. She was a former member of the Greenfield Community Choir and accompanied students for the Indiana State School Music Association contest for many years.

Her favorite place to be was the Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband; children, Debra (Robin) Goodrich of Fishers, David (Denise) Goodrich of Greenfield, and Donna (Jeffery) Rowe of Fountaintown; Grandchildren, Jeremy (Rebecca) Goodrich, Daniel (Hannah) Goodrich, Julie (Nathaniel) Agee, and Hannah Rowe; and one great-granddaughter; brother, Donald (Rosalie) Lovell of Mason, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Friends of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, P.O. Box 1660, Kodak, TN 37764, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
