Life Story for Joyce L. Davis Joyce L. Davis, age 64 of Osprey, FL and formerly of Newark, DE died at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods in Sarasota on October 25, 2018. She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 29, 1953 a daughter of the late James Wilson and Martha (Clark) Davis. She was a granddaughter of the late Gladden and Katherine Streett Davis.

Joyce was a graduate of the University of Delaware and worked as a division sales manager in the cosmetics industry for 29 years in both Newark and New York, NY. She retired in 2010 and moved to Osprey in 2015 where she was a member of the Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota. Her other memberships include The Oak Club, Osprey, FL.

Joyce is survived by: Her brothers: James Wilson Davis, III and his wife, Susan of Conroe, TX Mark Davis and his wife, Caragh of South China, ME Her sisters: Cheryl Smith and her husband, Dale of New Port Richey, FL Diane Heesh and her husband, Robert of Osprey, FL In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, F. Clark Davis in 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 4603 Rocks Rd. , Street, MD 21154.

Officiating will be the vicar, Reverend Martie D.V. Johnson. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the church at the above address or the Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd.
