Juanita was born February 13, 1929 in Sycamore, AL to William Crawford and Odessa Johnson Crawford. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers around her home.

Juanita was a great cook and loved preparing meals for her family and friends. She was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church. Her biggest legacy, however was the immeasurable mark she left on her family.

Known to them as Juanita, mom and Mimaw she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer G Golden; sons, Avery Lamar Golden and Oscar Lee Golden; father, William Crawford; mother, Odessa Johnson Crawford, brothers, Bill and Bobby Crawford, Buster Cummings; sisters, Mary Cooper and Alvin Cummings. She is survived by daughter, Ann Haney and husband Ronnie of Florala, sons, Larry Golden of Florala, James Golden and spouse James T Holley of Crestview, Dennis Golden and wife Rhea of Florala and William M Golden of Laurel Hill; sisters, Margret Bimbo, Ruby and Betty Ann Crawford.

She is also survived by numerous grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Juanita C Golden will be 2PM Friday January 25, 2019 at Paxton Baptist Church with John Lovelady and Dewayne Geohagen officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
