Obituary for Judith “Judy” Ann Catlin Judith Ann “Judy” Catlin, 74, of Kiowa, KS, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Kiowa District Hospital, Kiowa, KS. She was born on November 22, 1943 in Hardtner, KS, the daughter of Firman Elwin Reed and Thelma Nadine (Hadsall) Reed. On November 26, 1961 she married Leonard M. “Wimpy” Catlin in Kiowa, KS.

He preceded her in death on July 5, 2015. Judy was a Registered Nurse. She managed the Dialysis Unit at St. Mary’s in Enid, OK for 26 years and was the MDS Coordinator at Kiowa District Manor, where she retired in January of 2018.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Kiowa, KS and was a Girl Scout & Brownie Leader. Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly (Carl) Balding of Medicine Lodge, KS; Nine grandchildren, Mandi (Clay) Hattey, Sophia Catlin, Boston Catlin, Lindsay (Tim) Rhymer, Shannon (Matt) Thimesch, Lisa (Chris) Mace, Lori (Mike) Spears, Jennifer (Jeremy) Ratzlaff & a special granddaughter, Jennifer Thimesch; Eleven great-grandchildren, Isabella Thimesch, Myles Thimesch, Finn Rhymer, Sullivan Rhymer, Mollie June Rhymer, Braxton Mace, Haylee Spears, Emma Spears, Alaina Spears, Riley Ratzlaff, & Remington Hattey; four sisters, Carol Irons of Fairfax, OK, Becky Anderson of Dallas, TX, Melinda Ryan of Tulsa, OK, & Melissa Melton of Tulsa, OK; a special sister-in-law, Carolyn Catlin Robertson; lifelong best friend, Linda Lee Vossberg of Goddard, KS. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Catlin, and one son, Timothy Blake Catlin.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Kiowa, KS with Pastor Tom Walters and Pastor Dennis Hatlestad officiating. Burial will be in the Attica Cemetery, Attica, KS.
